Students benefit from KLF’s first award

National Indigenous History Month is a great time to announce our first award, the Kw’umut Lelum Foundation Award. The award was created to support students pursuing post-secondary education.

While financial need will be the primary consideration, other factors may also be considered such as involvement in and contribution to the community as a whole; and demonstrated academic merit and performance.

Recipients are awarded $5,280 and there are 5 awards available for the 2022-23 academic year. We know students face a wide range of costs and therefore funds can be applied as needed by the recipient.

How to apply

To apply, please register a new Indspire account here and then hit the “Apply Now” button on our KLF Award page. Please reach out to Christina (CIndseth@klfoundation.ca) if you have any questions about the application process or the award. We look forward to connecting with you.
